🍁 How to Teach Thankfulness and Gratitude (and Have it Yourself)

Happy Thanksgiving (to my US friends), and happy November to everyone else!

Whether you're in the US or not, gratitude and thankfulness has massive benefits.

Today, my heart is to share the heart of gratitude with the research and stories from my classroom and from two remarkable educators who teach this to students every day.

I don't want you to spend all your time on email, and I am about to make some Taco Soup since my daughter and son-in-law will be here in just 45 minutes. Tomorrow, there will be around 100 friends, family, and new friends at the family farm. We've been baking for quite some time and are making it extra special with Mama's chicken plates, which she never got to use. My Mom is everywhere as we celebrate Thanksgiving because she loved to serve others.

So, this shows not only how to be grateful but also how to be thankful when it is hard.

Listen on YouTube (it just released)

Listen on the podcast (it should be up around 1 pm Eastern or possibly sooner, depending on how fast Apple updates their feed.)

I hope your day is as awesome as you are and that the only turkey at your festivities (if you eat turkey) is the one on the table. Kindness, service, love -- these are things I'm thankful for.

Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter. It is a work of ❤️.

Joyfully in your service,

Vicki
